Puma just introduced a new product into their product line . . . a smart phone! When I first heard about it I figured it would be some hack job phone resulting from a misdirected attempt at crossing into a new sales market. As I looked at the latest news on this new Puma smartphone I was surprised by how cool and innovative it is! I think you’ll agree. This phone is perfect for the sports and fitness minded and even possibly for the green-minded folks as well. It features a GPS running and biking distance monitor, pedometer, yacht compass, and stopwatch. Plus it has all the normal features of a smartphone: music player, camera, video recorder (also used for online chat), GPS, touch screen, and much more. The feature that I found the most interesting of all is a solar panel on the back of the phone that can be used for recharging! This new panel is perfect for when you are sitting outside in the sun at starbucks, at the park playing sports, or attached to your arm while you are going for a run. Pretty neat new concept, I love it because I always forget or lose my cell phone charger. Unfortunately this phone is being released in Europe first and there is not a set release date for the US that I’m aware of. See it for yourself here
